About Tellington TTouch

Developed by Linda Tellington-Jones in the 1970s, Tellington TTouch is a gentle, mindful method that helps animals feel safer, more balanced, and more comfortable in their bodies.

Rather than being a form of massage, TTouch works by communicating with the nervous system through gentle, intentional movements. Using light circular touches, lifts, slides, and supportive body wraps, the technique provides the body with new sensory information, encouraging greater body awareness, improved posture and movement, emotional regulation, and increased confidence.

The philosophy behind TTouch is that by helping the nervous system reorganise itself in a calmer, more balanced way, we can support both physical comfort and emotional wellbeing. As dogs become more comfortable in their bodies, they often become calmer, more confident, and better able to cope with the world around them.

Whether you're looking to deepen your relationship with your own dog or add valuable skills to your professional toolkit, this workshop offers a fascinating introduction to a compassionate and effective approach that benefits dogs of all ages and abilities.
